My HUB location have 2 ISP connection (Pri-MPLS, Sec-MPLS).primary run on BGP and for secondary we have created tunnel between HUB to remote location.since Bgp is primary route,we define static route for tunnel with AD value of 30.

1.At some remote location we have both links but at some other location we have any one of it.so i want to keep both linkas active at HUB location.

In this senario i am phasing problem in faiolver between the mpls and static route.when MPLS(bgp) goes down traffic failover to static but when the primary comes up,it dont shift to the bgp.how do i achieve automatic failover?kindly suggest.

Hello,

I think that the problem is that after primary link comes up again , BGP routes are not valid for same reason and are not installed in routing table.

Could you send us the out of the following commands:

1- Normal state (primary link up)

show ip route

show bgp ipv4 unicast summary

show bgp ipv4 unicast

2- Primary link down

show ip route

show bgp ipv4 unicast summary

show bgp

3- Primary link comes up again

show ip route

show bgp ipv4 unicast summary

show bgp ipv4 unicast

Regards.
