Hi, We need some help about network design. We have 3 mainly services: VPN L2 point-to-point links Customer type A than must use Internet link type A Customer type B than must use Internet link type B So far, we have use default routing table in router to implement service 2. A vrfB to implement service 3. For service 1, we use QinQ with brigde-domains or p2p connections. Users for service 2 and 3 must not be connected between them. Now, our network topology is going to change and we can have a redundant ring topology with 9 routers (ASR903 and ASR9006). Each node can have customers than ask for the 3 services. We don’t like very much use MSTP as protocol responsible of implementing network redundancy. So we have been studying MPLS: LDP, EoMPLS (instead of QinQ)  and OSPF as internal routing protocol (instead MST). We think that a possible solution is: Use default routing table in all router to implement active MPLS and LDP, with a OSPF process with id 1 for example. Use vrfA to implement service 2, with a OSPF process with id 2. Use vrfB to implement service 2, with a OSPF process with id 2.   We suppose than perhaps we can mix in default routing table both service 1 and 2 but we don’t like it very much.   Any ideas for a goog network design?. Hi, i want to try MPLS in a CSR1000v. I am using csr1000v-universalk9.03.16.05.S.155-3.S5-ext.ova on workstation 12.5.5 build-5234757. The issue is that I have downloaded a trial security license and installed in the VM but MPLS commands are not supported. Can any one help me?. Regards. Hi, We are designed a new service based on a FTTH indirect access. Our provider delivers each connection using QinQ. There are two connections types: best efford and gold. In gold connections we need mark packets with a CoS=3 in both tags. We are using a c7200-NPE-G2 with IOS c7200p-ipbasek9-mz.152-4.S7.bin that supports QinQ termination feature. Our configuration is: policy-map GOLD-policy  class class-default   set cos 3 ! interface GigabitEthernet0/1.4 encapsulation dot1Q 1020 second-dot1q 5  pppoe enable group global  service-policy output GOLD-policy ! The issue is that only external tag is marked with CoS=3. We have study Cisco IOS and we have found that IOS c7200p-ipbasek9-mz.152-4.M11.bin have a command: set cos-inner. So we have tried the following policy: policy-map GOLD-policy  class class-default   set cos 3  set cos-inner 3 ! Tests shown that cos-inned has preference over set cos but always marks the most external tag (no inner). I suppose that plataform c7200p-NPG2 is not able to do this double mark. We have done more tests. We are using pppoE and there is a way to mark PPPoE and PPP control packets with the command control-packets vlan cos 3: bba-group pppoe global  virtual-template 1  ac name TEST  control-packets vlan cos 3 ! With this configuration (without set cos-inner and with contro-packet vlan cos+ set cos) control PPP packets are double marked (boths tags). PPP sessions are established but there is no data traffic. The issue is that data PPP packets (ICMP, HTTP) are not marked. We have tested a policy map in template interface to mark COS but it doen’t work. Any ideas?. Thanks ... View more
