All,
This might be a stupid a question, but just wanted some clarifications on the above subject.
What is the recommended mtu size inside an ISP core.
If there's no recommended settings, what do you guys suggests. Do you recommend increasing the default mtu size?
Thanks in advance,
Terence

If its just IP on top of ethernet all the way through, I don't see why you shouldn't use the default 1500.

An ISP core? If Ethernet, probably 1500 unless you want to be able to support jumbo Ethernet (which would probably be a good long term approach).
