Getting error on enabling ip routing in L3 switch

Hi all,

I am really stuck in enabling ip routing though a simple task.

I have configured 10 vlans in stacked 3750 switches have ipbase image.

I want to enable ip routing for inter vlan communication but it is giving this error:

%COMMON_FIB-4-ISSUENCODEWRONGLEN: Message IPv6 global features, rev B for slots 2 (0x4) is wrong length (10, should be 7).

Any help will be really appreciated.

Which version are you running? Perhaps there is a more stable IOS-version available for your switch.

Symptom:

Catalyst 3750 stack output %COMMON_FIB-4-ISSUENCODEWRONGLEN

when enable ip routing.

Conditions:

- Catalyst 3750 stack.

- c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE3

Workaround:

There is no workaround.

Further Problem Description:

This is cosmetic problem

Hi,

Thanks for your help everybody.

I dont know what was the issue but i think most probably it was due to stacking as when i removed stack and reconfigured the switches seperately everything is working fine!!!

@sandeep what does cosmetic problem mean???

does that mean it does not effect any functionality.
