Has custom queueing command been removed ?

Hello,

Now I am going to upgrade router with IOS ver 12.4 which has custom queueing configuration.

New router cisco2901 with IOS ver 15.2(4), and tried to apply current config, but it does not recognize "queue-list" command.

I checked feature navigator which image and feature-set support this, but it says IOS 15.2(4) on Cisco2901 support this.

Does anyone know if custom queueing was removed recently, or this is missed at succeeding feature from 12.4 to 15.0 ?

RGDS,

Hi k-baba,

Custom Queueing has indeed been removed from recent IOSes. The MQC along with CBWFQ/LLQ is, in general, the only queueing mechanism available. Check out the following document for more information. It also contains examples of migrating the custom queueing configuration into MQC.

Best regards,

Peter

Thank you Peter,

I also could find link for "Legacy QoS CLI Commands Deprecation"

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/ios-nx-os-software/quality-of-service-qos/product_bulletin_c25-580832.html

Applying CBWFQ on dialer or multilink ppp interface will not be a problem, but I just want to say command referrence documents should be updated.
