Help ... Router Load-sharing feature does not work !!!!

Cisco Router 2851 connected with one ISP using 2 serials.

the case is :

1)s0/0/1.1 is the only utalized and s0/0/0.1 utalization is zero.

2)when shutting down s0/0/1.1 : the other ,not utalized, link work perfect and forward all the traffic.

Attached the configuraion file with output of show interfaces command.

Did anybody have an interpretion for this behavior?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello Khaled,

Interesting. How do the counters look like on the subinterfaces, i.e. can you post the output of these two commands?

show interface s0/0/0.1

show interface s0/0/1.1

Also, the ip load-sharing per-packet command is valid only if CEF is activated. Can you verify it using the show ip cef and show ip cef 0.0.0.0/0 internal command?

Best regards,

Peter

Dear Peter,

I attached the output of show interfaces and the running configuration.

Hello Khaled,

Unfortunately, the file you have attached in this reply is the same file as your original post contains, and does not containt the output of the commands I have asked for. Can you please perform the commands anew and post the results?

show interface s0/0/0.1

show interface s0/0/1.1

show ip cef 0.0.0.0/0 internal

Thank you!

Best regards,

Peter

show interface s0/0/0.1 & show interface s0/0/1.1 exist at the end of the file.

Khaled,

I apologize but I do not see them. I only see the output for physical interfaces S0/0/0 and S0/0/1, not for the subinterfaces S0/0/0.1, S0/0/1.1. In addition, the CEF outputs are missing altogether.

Best regards,

Peter
