How to Configure an 857 cisco on Kingston Communication in Hull UK

Does anybody know how to configure a

Cisco 857 on adsl for kingston comms in Hull United kingdom

it has a dynamic peer

we cannot get connectivity with the adsl (NO PPP Light)

Kingston have proved that the adsl is active on the phoneline

If yes, can you post the output of command

sh dsl int atm

sh caller

debug ppp negotiation

debug ppp authentication

sh run int dialer

sh run int atm

I was in Kinston last week setting up routers at several sites. We initially found the same issue.

Kingston/Hull is an odd area all unto itself.

Change the PCV to 1/50 :

establish a PPP session in accordance with RFC 1661 [15].

support PPPoA or PPPoE as defined in section 5 above

support Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP) in accordance with RFC 1994 [16]

obtain an IP address

use ATM VPI/VCI 1/50 for data transmission/reception

carry out upstream traffic shaping to the ATM rate
