How to find the switch IP?

How can I find the switch IP?someone set that up before but he forgot put the label on the switch.

Attach a PC to its console first.

What kinda switch you have anyway?

If it runs catos hit the show interface and look for sc0 interface and if you have ios based then hit the show ip int brief.

hi

one option would be loggin on via console and checking the same.

second option would be checking cdp details onto the neighboring device on which the switch is connected.
