We have one server but two different network connections coming in from two different ISPs for failover. So if one ISP goes down, the other can take over. So we have two ISPs coming in to one server. The trick we are trying to resolve is how to get two different networks to failover to each other.
Any ideas how we can do this and/or if there is a product that will handle it?
I appreciate any and all suggestions and comments!

The failover part is pretty easy, but changing the DNS is the harder part. How do you plan on attacking that part of it?

That is also part of the solution we are looking for. Someone recommended the ASA 5500 to handle the failover but the DNS issue is also part of the scenario we need an answer to. This is a new scenario we are looking to venture into, but need guidance to make sure we are try to cover all the issues that can come up.

Hi Nick,
You can do inbound and outbound failover as well as loadbalancing, as denoted above , the DNS issue is part of thier solution as well so there is no problem of DNS here.
please click on the below link and check this product:
The Powerlink device provides what you are looking for and it can also be configured as an authorative DNS server when communicates with the root DNS on the Internet.

Mohamed
