how to obtain and upgarde cisco ios,

Hi

1-I am trying to upgrade IOS for my cisco 2811 router.When i try to downlaod it gives me error of service contract.Do we need to buy new router as mine is eol.

Any help would be apperciated.

This means you need to purchase a valid Service Contract that will allow you to download IOS files.
