Dear All,
Does any have any practical implemented ideas around black holing issues in the multi homing BGP setup?
I have one router connected to two ISPs (Multi Homing). however, three weeks ago, one of the ISPs had a problem in their peers caused issues in the connectivity. I have assuemed what happened is a black holing because we were still sending the traffic to the affected ISP.
The problem cleared by itself as the ISP fixed the issue in short time.
Please let me know if anyone has practical and solid solution to guard automatically against such scenario.
Thanks,
IE

Hello IE,
Can we have more informaion on
> what protocol you are running with ISP
> What routes you are learning from ISP
> What had happened in ISP network with their peers (you can ask ISP as it is your right)
> If you are learning default route how ISP is pumping it to you
Regards
Mahesh
