Issue the following commands:
1) flash_init
2) load_helper
Next you need to change the baud rate on the switch, otherwise it will take about 2 hours to transfer the IOS via xmodem.
3) set BAUD 115200
After you issue the baud rate command on the switch make sure you also change it in Hyperterminal or whatever software terminal emulation software you use. Otherwise you won't be able to communicate to the switch.
4) copy xmodem:"image_filename.bin" flash:"image_filename.bin"
5) In Hyperterminal select "Transfer" and select "send file". Change the protocol to xmodem. Next select browse and navigate to where you have stored the IOS that you would like to transfer to the switch. Click send.
The transfer will take about 30-40 minutes.
6)boot flash:"image_filename.bin"
The new IOS should boot at this point. If you need more in depth instructions check out this link.

Hi,
switch: copy xmodem: flash:image_filename.bin
Have a look:
I have once used xmodem to load ios image successfully onto a 2950. Not sure about 3560, but I think it's the same.

Thanks for the reply, but there is any other way we can do it.

the easiest way in my opinion is
run CNA 5.x on the pc, connect to the switch
let it do all the settings and transfer over ethernet/http

I have the image c3560-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE9.bin original from CISCO Download. It was on the Switch before. on the Switch i have following scenario happens:
1 set boot is okay
2 set BAUD is okay
Xmodem transferring the Image: Linux Side the Size is: 11.772.212 and on the switch I have following Size: 11.772.416
So a bad zip failure coming correct up- is ther any xmodem option -b to set that he make a binary 1:1
