HWIC issue in logs >>input errors are incrementing on WAN interface

Hi All,

 

Seeing below logs :

Also current running version is 15.4(3)M3 

 

Can anyone suggest how to resolve the issue

i may think that couple of things here.

 

1. this could be a bug (for it does not show on your version of code, there is a bug in 15.X  code. ( CSCuw46836 and CSCuo71154)

2. or this may be a hardware issue.

 

worth raise a TAC case (if hardware issue they will send RMA)

Particularly the first line, I do not like the looks of this. 

Try powering down the router and re-seat the line cards.  Make sure the side s_crews are secure before powering up the router. 

IF the error message still appears, RMA the HWIC.
