Hello Team,
I am new to networking. I am trying to set up a home lab for my training. I have Three cisco router 2800, cisco ass 5505, Cisco Switch Catalyst 3650and two IP phones 7960. I am trying to hook all these stuff together and to use my modem.
Can anyone help me out?

well, usually you will have Firewall ASA,router, then switch with IP phones and PCs. If you study for CCNA, you can skip Firewall for now and use Router as your firewall. you will need few Cat5 cables.
what is your goal? or purpose of home lab?
Regards, ML

Hello,
at first glance, the logical setup would be:
ISP Modem <-- ASA Firewall <-- Router <-- Switch <-- IP Phones
If you have a network simulator like Packet Tracer, all these devices are available as simulations, so you could test your setup and configuration there...

Hi,
Home network can be set up like:
ISP Modem <--> ASA Firewall <--> Router <--> Switch <--> IP Phones
But LAB setup always changes as per protocol and lab equipment sizing. If you are practicing on Switching then the wiring diagram will be different and will if trying on OSPF then the wiring diagram may different.
