Hello,
i'm wondering about an interface on an ASR920.
GigabitEthernet0/0/7 is up, line protocol is up Hardware is 24xGE-4x10GE-FIXED-S, address is XXXX.XXXX.XXXX (bia XXXX.XXXX.XXXX) Description: *** XXXXXXX *** MTU 9000 bytes, BW 1000000 Kbit/sec, DLY 10 usec, reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255 Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set Keepalive not set Full Duplex, 1000Mbps, link type is auto, media type is LX output flow-control is unsupported, input flow-control is on Carrier delay is 0 msec ARP type: ARPA, ARP Timeout 04:00:00 Last input never, output 00:00:02, output hang never Last clearing of "show interface" counters never Input queue: 0/375/0/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 0 Queueing strategy: fifo Output queue: 0/40 (size/max) 30 second input rate 1688000 bits/sec, 312 packets/sec 30 second output rate 2015000 bits/sec, 320 packets/sec 5438829966 packets input, 4764810553374 bytes, 0 no buffer Received 643624214 broadcasts (0 IP multicasts) 0 runts, 0 giants, 0 throttles 21299 input errors, 11 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored 0 watchdog, 352452432 multicast, 0 pause input 2647783744 packets output, 1049807216626 bytes, 0 underruns 0 output errors, 0 collisions, 2 interface resets 0 unknown protocol drops 0 babbles, 0 late collision, 0 deferred 0 lost carrier, 0 no carrier, 0 pause output 0 output buffer failures, 0 output buffers swapped out
Input error is increasing. But nearly no CRC and no other errors. What`s going wrong to increase the Input Error Counter?

what is the other device connected to this port, do you see same errors other side, any impact on performance ?
