IP address configuration on Cisco 9300

Hi,

I have a cisco SW 9300 and it is up and running for nearly 3 years. I thought it is a L3 sw but I tried to configure an Ip address on an interface and i noticed I did not have the option so I added

ip routing

globally and still cannot configure ip address.

I am attaching sh ver

Can some please advise me.

When you like to configure port on the IP configuration

config t

!

interface TwoGigabitEthernet1/0/1 ( change this to gig if you have gig ports - i used Cat 9300 UXM)

shutdown

no switchport

ip address x.x.x.x 255.255.255.X

no shutdown

You have network advantage License so dont worry License

test and advise.

Note : you are running 16.6 OLD if you get chance upgrade to IOS Xe 17.6.4 latest
