Just wondering if anyone has done ISIS between a Cisco ISR router and an Avaya Core switch?
The Avaya is using ISIS for their virtual switch protocol and I need to provide route redistribution.
Any tips would be appreciated.

i had done long with back with VSP - ISIS is just flat area, so you enable ISIS relation between Cisco and Avaya. it learns automatically routes.
I have tried VSP running OSPF / ISIS - Avaya to Avaya run internally ISIS
cisco router run OSPF relation with Avaya, in this case, you need to redistribute routes vice versa. ISIS to OSPF and OSPF to ISIS

I have the same question for one of my customers.
Anyone have snippets of a Cisco config and an Avaya Core Switch?
The cisco side seems fairly straight forward.
Need to redistribute routes but that should be simple as well into ISIS, just some questions on what kind of metrics should be used.
What needs to be done on the Avaya side to make it all work.
Thanks.
