I am using 1121-4P with LTE Dongle. The version is 17.06.06a. I am using this as a SDWAN cEdge device.
When i am connecting the USB LTE dongle, i am seeing that the interface is coming up and negotiating the ip address. But the assigned ip (i am seeing the ip in the output of "show cellular 0/2/0 connection") is not reflected in the show ip interface brief output and also the interface status is "spoofing"

The below image shows that there is no ip address assigned
The below image shows the version of ios-xe in ISR 1121-4P
The configuration is as below
And sometimes when i reset the router i get the below error after which the "show cellular 0/2/0 connection" output shows the profiles are inactive

I believe you can not see the IP due the method used IPCP and when the interface is in DHCP mode, you dont see the IP using this command. . But, you need to rely on the information you receive on the output of "show cellular 0/2/0 connection".
If you connect this SIM card to a smarphone, are you abre to access the internet?

Thanks Flavio, it worked once and during that time i saw ip address on the output of "show ip interface brief" ... also during that time i had a default route and i could ping the internet... I did not change any configs but after that i could not ping the internet nor could i see the ip address....
Also i am getting the below error

@Jayashanker warrier This has to be some mistake on the ISP side as from your side the only action you take is insert the SIM card.
If you try to use this SIM in a phone, does it works?

Yep Flavio, the sim works in another 4G router.....is there any debugs i can do? or any outputs?....i am using this as cEdge SDWAN router.. is there anything i need to do... I was checking the following link and there it shows the ip address "show ip interface brief" in the output...

Hi Flavio, I tried couple of things but nothing worked though there might be interesting messages in the debug (debug cellular messages)
a) i tried dialer watch but interestingly it did not allow me to configure and i got an error (though the command was listed). I tried different ip address but no joy....
b) Today i got the IP address once and i have taken some outputs.. it is attached here "Cellular interface ip successful"
c) i took some debugs when it was failing.. might be there is some interesting messages here.. i have tried to highlight it
