ISR 4321 fan speed increase after IOS XE upgrade

Hi,

I see a considerable increase in Fan Speed on an ISR 4321 after upgrading from IOS XE 3.16.x to 16.06.04.  The CPU utilisation slightly decreased.

Is the increase of the Fan Speed intentional as part of IOS XE 16.06.04 or is it a result of increased activity and heating inside the chassis?
