Hi All,
I have recently had multiple reloads on two of our routers (ISR 4451-X) installed at different sites.
I can't find any crash logs after this sudden reload. It could be a crash of the Kernel which I believe do not produce any logs.
Has anyone encountered a similar crash on any of the IOS-XE platforms?
Cheers
Ashil

Post the output to the command "sh version".

Hi Ashil
We had 2 routers reload without cause, as you state there are no crash logs. Have you made any progress in determining what caused your reload? We are running the following bin isr4400-universalk9.03.13.00.S.154-3.S-ext.SPA.

Hi,
Due to the large number of ISR4451 routers in our network, we had an internal discussion with Cisco. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the outcome of these discussions as they are confidential.
Please raise a TAC case with Cisco and confirm with TAC whether the new replacement router (If Cisco TAC agrees to the RMA process) will not be exhibiting the same reload issue.
Cheers
Ashil.

Hi All,
Cisco TAC have advised a fix for this issue. (see below link)
However it is best to raise a ticket with Cisco TAC and follow the procedures advised by them rather than go ahead with the upgrade procedure described in the link.
