Hi Team

 

after initializing IOS up-gradation facing challenge on boot  with below error

You might face an existing bug, so you need to go into ROMmon to restart it:

Can get on to ROMMON

 

> dir bootflash:

 

if you have image on USB boot from USB and test it.

16.7.1 is a single-release version that came out on November 2017 -- That's four and a half years ago. 

Is there a particular feature you are looking for in 16.7.X? 
If not, use the latest 16.6.9 because it tends to be more stable than the others. 

16.9.X introduces the infernal feature Cisco Smart License and is a PITA.
