Hi, CSC:
Quick question regarding an ISR Performance and its Performance License.
For example, if we look at ISR4321, the DS says this box has 2 expected performance levels: 50Mbps and 100Mbps.
Are these levels enforced in any fashion, meaning that the box will not, under any circumstances give you a better throughput than 100Mbps. I've seen the numbes for the CPU with IMIX conditions and such, but I'm wondering what would happen if my working conditions are just 1500B data, no NAT, just routing. Will the 4321 cap out at 100Mpbs because of some license enforcement or can it deliver more than that if used properly?
Thanks,
c.

Yes, it will cap out at 100 or 50 mb depending on what license you have.

Hello sandreas,
is it traffic shaping ? Or is the perf license only impact the CPU cores ?
We're in the process of ordering new routers, and we're not really used to have such limitation from our cisco boxes :(
Thanks,

Hi Nicolas
Its traffic shaping and you can't disable it.

Is there a CLI to see those shaped traffic?
