Latency on the network

Hello All,

when tracing from same source to destination i see latency one way not the other way ,why this behaviour? can someone please explain.

Likely circuits are congested one way, but not the other.

How long is a piece of string? I mean transport paths are hardly ever symmetrical in their behaviour/performance,  If down stream is quicker than up stream that might mean that one direction is more congested than the other or might have different buffers.

with the information you have provided it is impossible to pin point a cause.
