We currently have 1 T1 coming into a 1700 series router for our internet traffic. We are looking to add 2 more T1's to this and was curious what would be a recomended router for this. Our provider is trying to sell us an adtran for $4200 which can handle 4 T1's.
One caveat i forgot to add. I do have a 2821 router that has two open hwic slots, would you recomend using this mpls data router to handle our internet traffic as well? Any issues with having two multilinks on the same router or any performance issues with the 2821 managing 7 T1's??
No there are no issues with 2821 having 7T1's line. Currently we are using 8T1's line using 4 VWIC's.
