Hi,
I've got a cisco 17xx router with a 2MB connection and some branch offices connected with VPN tunnels to this router.
Since a few days we have some annoying delays.
Since the router is the only device between the LAN and the internet, what commands can I use to analyze the traffic going to the router?

If you suspect congestion on the Internet link
check for utilization and errors.
sh int serial x
to clear counters
clear counters serial x
check the router logs for any interface flaps.
sh log | i Serial
Run some ping sweeps between sites to see if there is
packet loss on a particular connection.
Also check the local LAN interface to ensure it's operating correctly.

Also check processor utilization with "show proc cpu"
If IPsec is being done in software on the router it can really slow it down with even moderate traffic loads.
