Hey I hope I have a super easy one. I want to hook a laptop up to a Cisco ISR 4351 running iOS XE 16.6.2. I want to mirror our LAN routed interface so we can do some troubleshooting on Cisco phone call flow. However when I do a "monitor session 1 source interface gi0/0/0 both" I get an error "Only NGIO switch is supported for Local SPAN". I have been able to setup and utilize the "monitor capture XXXX interface gi0/0/0 both" to utilize the embedded capture protocol and this works.
But wondering if there is a way to hook up a laptop with wireshark to my router and just do a mirror of the routed interface to another port on the ISR 4351 so we can watch live as apposed to doing a TFTP copy of the buffer to my computer? I have our voice tech doing a call this afternoon and would rather just give him access to the laptop to troubleshoot, so I don't have to be involved to TFTP the pcap over.
