MPLS in provider networks

Hi

Has anyone got a diagram or can explain how a typical ISP network works, do they generally have a full BGP mesh of routers or use Route reflectors?

What about MPLS, can anyone explain the benefits of this in the core? do all the core routers still have large routing tables? or do they only build label tables and switch based on the label?

cheers

It is hard to answer some of them, because every ISP, every SP network is different. depends on requirement SP. ISP change their topology to suites the customer needs.

There is good CVD from cisco about MPLS :
