MPLS on Supervisor2T, Catalyst 6500,15.1.1SY

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to configure QoS on 10G L3 MPLS interfaces in 6500 with Sup2T. I need a simple thing - EXP bits should be preserved on Egress from

ingress MPLS frames. I've found that it should work like this by default, but in my case EXP bits are always reset to 000. Is there any good config to do this thing?

Best regards,

Krzysztof

Hello Krzysztof,

see

EXP Mutation

You can configure up to eight egress EXP mutation maps to mutate the  internal EXP value before it is written as the egress EXP value. You can  attach egress EXP mutation maps to these interface types:

LAN port subinterfaces

Layer 3 VLAN interfaces

Layer 3 LAN ports

You cannot attach EXP mutation maps to Layer 2 LAN ports (ports configured with the switchport command).

For configuration information, see the"Configuring MPLS QoS Egress EXP Mutation" section.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
