Hello,
I have a question..
The situation is as follows..
In a IP Network where 2 MGW speak to each other with SIP, H.248, RTP signalling, I'm noticing that whenever our IP backbone has a fault or if they "change there link metrics" all the calls of our customers fail or crash...
If we apply MPLS TE will this help our situation??
SIP, H.248 are application layer protocols and I have a feeling MPLS TE will not help our situation.

No, TE is not the solution.
You need to look at the way your routing is set up, and make sure redundancy and fail over works correctly.
