Hi All
I would like to design the MPLS VPN for a Corporation with around current estimate 500+ to eventual maximum of 1500 agencies or branches around The Corporation will own all the infrustucture has already been allocated fiber and leased line trunk to carry to interconnect the all the cities. At the organisation plans to offer Multiservice products to it agencies in several cities around the country AS SEEN IN THE DIAGRAM... The services that will be offered will be data, voice and video. Issues such as end to end QOS and SLA will be an issue because of voice and video traffic .All the agencies should be able to to communicate to each other either by Voip or video as well as carry out inter-branch data transactions.
My Challenge
The challenge is find suitably placed routers on the Provider edge and Provider router.I would want to contain the costs to minimum and would prefer to use 3800 routers or 2800 routers where possible instead of the 7600 series and above at the Provider Edge and Provider routers NOT customer edge. What would I need to do to make this happen what series ? if it not what is the best routers I can employ in the design above both on the Provide edge and Customer edge...

If you own infrastructure, leased lines and fiber, there is no need for MPLS VPN.
In any case, routers are sized according the circuit speed, the more and faster they are, the bigger router you need.

just a correction. Will be acting as Service provider for the Partner agencies. who will be changed accordingly. At the core network we will be using fiber to interconnect the proposed PE and P routers. Last mile to client depending on availablitiy fiber or leased line. base on you experience do you recommend 3800 or 2800 at PE... Which image can support the feature at Provider edge..?
will appreciate

Hi CM
You need to have a robust and high end router as your PE to handle the VRFs and MPBGP sessions.
Provider (P) routers needs to just handle the routing/labels where you can make use of slighlty less horsepower router.
Understanding your environment and other financial implications the design needs to be done in a systematic/schematic way like the max vrf you might require at present and in the future (may be 3 yrs down the lane) and an approximate expected addition of location in the near future.
This all will help to arrive at the hardware requirements to support the network. I wont suggest you to approach this requirement with just 3800 and 2800s in your mind.
