We have enabled multicast completely throughout our network and plan to launch MVPN (Multicast VPN) services.I am in the process of putting some commercial aspects to this service. For this I need to ''Provide a limit to the maximum number of multicast routes that can be accepted from a customer''. If the number of routes exceed this limit we need to charge extra from the customer.
Is there a method of arriving at the route-limit figure based on router resource utilization? If there any documents that can provide a mathematical insight into the same it would be very helpful. Kindly do provide your inputs on the same.
NOTE - We can always make a random assumption which that should be supported by some logical references
