Hi,

U don't need any software for multicasting.

U have to enable multicast routing on all routers and configure pim sparse/dense on the interface where u want to multicast.

for sparse-mode u need to configure RP for each multicast group.

if u have large number of receivers then go for dense-mode or otherwise go for sparse-mode.

HTH.

of course, you'll provide the software/system required to produce the video stream to the network; but once that is in place, you can configure multicast on each router in the MCast path.

see these links to configure multicast:

(ipV4 multicast)

(ipV6 multicast)

Thanks, which type of software/system required for video straming.
