Does the service provider need to provision the line any differently than a normal DSL line, or is all the "bonding" done at the CPE? Does the Cisco router need to be configured for PPPoE or a different protocol. I read something on the Cisco Web site about using aal5 mux.

- Multilink has to be configured at both ends.
- You actually need to configure PPPoA.
I have never done it myself but I think it would look something like this on the CPE:
interface Virtual-Template1
no ip address
ppp multilink
ppp multilink group 1
!
interface ATM0/0
no ip address
no atm ilmi-keepalive
pvc 8/35
encapsulation aal5mux ppp virtual-template 1
!
interface ATM0/1
no ip address
no atm ilmi-keepalive
pvc 8/36
encapsulation aal5mux ppp virtual-template 1
!
Hope this helps,
