Multisite BGP

Need to implement BGP in a multi-site scenario. Both locations have two links each. Does this kind of scenario impose any issues? Both sites have separate set of IP classes.

Hello,

are you running iBGP or eBGP between your sites ? Since you have two links between the sites, load sharing would be an option. Have a look at the document below, which contains configuration for various load sharing scenarios:

No, these sites are not connected and does not need to as well, our target is just to run BGP on both sites independently with there own service providers. My issue was that does it do any thing unusual because both sites belong to same company so have the same ASN.

You have to get two different ASN to do two different sites. You might able get some private ASN from your ISP, as long as they don't advertise to the world.

What you are doing is multihoming, having bgp connections to different ISP providers with two different AS's.
