Need help to configure WAN DS3 link encryption with 3945E router.

Received two new 3945E routers with DS3 card.

Need help to show how to configure encryption over WAN DS3 link.

That is done with IPsec VPN, can use AES cryptography, and is certified by the US Gov.t for official use.

For help with configuring, recommend you engage a reputables consultant, or certfied cisco partner.

Hi Yhuang.

Check the command scranble under the interface associated with the T3 controller. That wil generate an encrypted payload for the packets passing through the interface. Make sure you communicate that to your Service provider. Or/Make sure you have the same on the other end of the link. 

T3 scrambling does NOT encrypt traffic. It simply uses an algorithm to re-code traffic, ensuring that there are never long sequences of 0s or 1s, moreover that 0 and 1 do come in the same quantity statitistically. Because there is no private key, is NOT designed to protect privacy, and ANYBODY can get to "de-scramble", so it CANNOT be used to encrypt traffic.
