I apologize in advance, but I can find anywhere to post on this topic.
I am required to perform a network audit and assessment for company this week. This network assessment includes bandwidth testing, latency, power requirements, network availability, examining the current topology, routing architecture, etc. Does Cisco have any documentation on the "best practices for performing a network assessment/audit?" Please send links. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest having a looking at the various SRND documents that can be found here:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/netsol/ns816/networking_solutions_program_home.html
Depending on the size of the network and what services you need to audit this may give you a starting point:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cvd/G2srmdbrnt/SysTest.html
The document includes sections on Configuration Verification, Troubleshooting, System Testing etc.

Hi, this requirements you can perform for example with cisco smart care, or in greater environments with a third party tool like Stablenet. For further information search for "IBLM" ( installed base lifecycle management) on cisco website.
Thanks Ralf
