I have a gateway with 10 PRI"S but the network select only allows a maximum of 8
what other way can i configure the remaining 2 pris's so I dont experience
slips.

If the pri's are synchronous, as going to same telco, etc. you will not have slips even if the circuit does not have a priority defined.
In fact configuring many priority only helps if all the higher priority circuits fails where to fail, that in a stable situation should not happen anyway.
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

what i experience before that the same pris going to the same telco we were expericing slips it was not until i enable the network source clock that it fixed it. therefore i am nervous to leave it out and have some issues.

It's the network-clock-particapate command that matters. Once a reference clock is established, as long circuits are synchronous, there will be no slips. Post here if you find there are. Slips don't come and go, either they are or not.
