Does anybody know what type of CPUs are in the network switch models SRW2048 and SG300-52

Generally speaking Cisco doesn't provide info abut CPU used in its device and it could also happen that the CPU change over time.
Why are you interested in this info ?

I am trying to figure out if we have any use for a switch that we have in the office but I cannot find out what CPU's are in the switches.

I'm too curious how the actual CPUs might help you determine if there's a use for these switches in your office. Were thinking you could run other than Cisco software on them? Were you also thinking you could use the switches as something other than a network switch?
BTW, on some Cisco devices, the show version gives you some hint about the CPU, for example:
cisco WS-C3750X-48P (PowerPC405) processor (revision A0)
cisco ME-C3750-24TE (PowerPC405) processor (revision H0)
