NIM-ES2-8 in ISR4431 can L3 routing or not?

Hello,

I saw NIM-ES2-8 is Layer 2 module in datasheet.

it cannot support L3 protocol like OSPF, OSPFv3, BGP ... etc. ...?

Hi there,

It is a Layer 2 module, the interfaces can only be configured as switchports.

For the VLANs carried by the module interfaces (either access or trunk) you can configure SVIs on the ISR. These Layer3 interfaces can be configured with IGP/EGP you mention.
