noob question old print servers

Company has implemented a 3750x with older Lexmark Pro print servers on new Vlan configuration for printers.  Causing print servers to lose connection.  Have to reset constantly.  Have tried to configure print server ports to full.  Also new Nexus 7000.  Perfect scenario is network devices.. not there yet.  Any ideas?

Thanks for any help.

From memory, those things are a 10/100 device, but they have real issues with auto negotiation.

Try configuring the speed to 100 (or 10) rather than auto and see if that helps.

Cheers.

You need more info than this.

1.  When you mean "loose connection" do you see the interface go down/up?

2.  Do you see line errors?

I agree with Darren, you could try the interface command "speed auto 10 100".

I sent replys to net admin to try changing speed.  We also tried changing Vlan on older switch.  Had same problem with Lexmark print server.. started droping off.  Vlan ip.  10.128.252.0....

I will try to get more information on line errors to post.

Thanks for your replies..  Appreciate it.
