Hi,
A brief VRF-Lite question, I want to build a redundant setup using VRF-Lite on some Catalyst6509's, where I want to use OSFP as the IGP, and redistribute it into BGP, for uplink to our edge..
Some time ago, I heard that there where a limitation on the numbers of OSPF processes the could be used.
I have around 50 VRF's that I want to convert,
Any one know if this is a problem ?.
Thanks in advance

Practically u can have approx 28 OSPF processes running simultaneously on a router.
I dont think u require separate OSPF process for each VRF. In fact the concept of VRF is used to overcome the limitation of Max number of processes that can be run on router.

There is no more hard limitation tied to OSPF in a VRF context. The limitation has been removed in 12.2(18)SXE.
Hope this helps,
