Hi
1) Configure as a totally stub area and only a default route will be injected into the area ie. no external or inter-area routes will be advertised into area 4
2) Configure as a stub area which will allow inter-area routes but not external routes.

If you have any connectivity behind the area 4 means rip or eigrp then you can make the area 4 as NSSA,. Else you can make the area 4 as total stub area. After doing this you will be reciving a one default O*E2 route.
