Hello @leyakhath muhammed ,

yes, but only if you have a different IP subnet on the "parallel" link. The routers should use new L3 ports with a different common IP subnet for example 192.168.12.0/24 in area 0

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Hello
I know you have stipulated you need to keep the connection active whilst migrating from one ASA to another but, It would be feasible to bring the new ASA up inline with the exiting one and at a scheduled change time/ relocate the cabling from old to new and if you do encounter issues it would just be a matter on relocating the cabling back., this way you have 100% resiliency in case the new ASA doesn’t work as expected.
