OSPF Tuning

Hello Guys

help me to tune the below timers in order to limit the impacting of flooding , thus delay SPF a little

i have 1 area with a decent 49 X 6800

Start Interval -
Hold Interval -
Max Interval -

and to delay SPF as per below timers

SPF Start -
SPF Hold -
SPF Max Wait -

Hmm, when you tune OSPF, you often work to reduce convergence time, if you just delay SPF you may increase convergence time.

Perhaps you could further explain what you see as an issue that needs mitigation?
