Hi Gurus,
what possible technology/configuration to do this, pass a vlan traffic from switch to 2 routers, attached files.
Thanks.

Your post is not clear - explain further what you want to do?

Hi Andrew,
What i mean is from my 6500 switch, i have a vlan100 and i want this vlan to pass thru my GSR and 7206. its like making the router act as a bridge, sort of IRB. I think its not possible to create a vlan encapsulation on 2 routers p2p.
Thanks.

The only way I can think of - is to create dot1q sub-interfaces on the GSR and tag them with vlan 100 - then create a bridge group, and put the sub-interfaces into the bridge group.

Hi Andrew,
i will also create a bridge group on the last router?
gsr--subint-vlan100-----subint-vlan100-7206
Something like this?

Well from your diagram the 7206 does not need to pass layer 2 vlan 100 traffic out another interface?

yes thats the last router and i will just do a routing from there.

OK - then try the suggested topology

Hi Andrew,
I will try the config and try to test.
THanks.

Hi Andrew,
It work well, configured sub-int together with the bride-group without routing. Thanks for your help.
