There are some ping drops seen in ping when pining from data vlan to server vlan. Router is connected to 2960x switch and pining from PC to one server connected on 2960x. Topology is router on a stick what could be the issue and how to fix that?

Router is 2921

We need the configuration and more info about the topology

Make sure that the switch uplink to the router on Trunk mode.

Many, many possible issues, include host, such as a server, is pretty busy and decides not to reply to some pings.  I.e. it can be perfectly normal.

I have checked on one PC as well connected to next port as server. Still see some ping drops. link utilization between router and a switch was around 20 mbp. Is this possible it is because of router it self as this router has MPLS and Internet links and BGP is running with ISP.

can you share the show interface for both PC and Server interface,
we need to check the error.
