I tried to ping a wireless device from a branch to another router from different branch but failed.

Hello,
If you are doing it in PacketTracer project it will not work. As far as I tested, Wifi device on the packetTracer only ping upstream and not downstream.
If this is a real environment them we need more information on the topology and devices.

Hii thanks for the reply, is it possible for me to send my packet tracer file here for further guidance?

Hello,
I took a look on your file. Before make any change, I'd like to see how much you know about networking so that we can speak the same language here.
Your routers does not have any routing table. You need to use one Routing protocol or static route. Are you familar with routing, do you know any routing protocol?
04-27-2023 06:04 AM
one of the routing protocol that I am familiar with is the Routing Information Protocol
04-27-2023 06:08 AM
Great. This is a very simple protocol but can do the job. I will setup rip then and lets see. I will send the file to you soon.

Suree, but in my case I am asked to design this network topology diagram myself and also no dynamic routing configuration is required, so is it still necessary to perform the RIP configuration ?

I am still in a beginner phase learning Cisco packet tracer, and what do you mean by I do not have any routing table? But I know I have done static routing for all of the routers, what's causing the pining issues?

Routing table is this:
Kedah#sh ip route
Codes: C - connected, S - static, I - IGRP, R - RIP, M - mobile, B - BGP
D - EIGRP, EX - EIGRP external, O - OSPF, IA - OSPF inter area
N1 - OSPF NSSA external type 1, N2 - OSPF NSSA external type 2
E1 - OSPF external type 1, E2 - OSPF external type 2, E - EGP
i - IS-IS, L1 - IS-IS level-1, L2 - IS-IS level-2, ia - IS-IS inter area
* - candidate default, U - per-user static route, o - ODR
P - periodic downloaded static route
Gateway of last resort is not set
200.88.99.0/24 is variably subnetted, 9 subnets, 4 masks
C 200.88.99.0/26 is directly connected, FastEthernet1/0
R 200.88.99.64/26 [120/2] via 200.88.99.185, 00:00:08, Serial2/0
R 200.88.99.128/28 [120/2] via 200.88.99.185, 00:00:08, Serial2/0
C 200.88.99.144/28 is directly connected, FastEthernet0/0
R 200.88.99.160/29 [120/2] via 200.88.99.185, 00:00:08, Serial2/0
R 200.88.99.168/29 [120/1] via 200.88.99.185, 00:00:08, Serial2/0
R 200.88.99.176/30 [120/1] via 200.88.99.185, 00:00:08, Serial2/0
R 200.88.99.180/30 [120/1] via 200.88.99.185, 00:00:08, Serial2/0
C 200.88.99.184/30 is directly connected, Serial2/0
As you can see, this router now have routing from all your network.
I am attaching a file in which every host can ping each other. The smartphone I setup is
Kedah Smartphone1, you need to add IP address on the other one.
Keep up with your study and count on me.
04-27-2023 06:50 AM
Thanks for your reply, but what do you mean by I need to add IP address on the other one. Because the smartphones have wireless connection and I have done DHCP to assign IP address for them.
04-27-2023 07:05 AM
I dont see any DHCP service on the topology. Where did you put it?
If you setup the phone as DHCP, it get APIPA address, which means, no DHCP service available.
04-27-2023 07:08 AM
but when I press on smartphone and click on ip configuration, the dhcp request is successful.

Well thank you for solving the pinging issue, now there is a problem, which is my wireless lan all of the devices that supposed to connect wireless are not connected, and I remembered for wireless connection isn't it I have to perform dhcp configuration in the routers?
