Please suggest one best laptop model for GNS3 practice.

Hi there, I used GNS3 a lot for CCIE preparation and did it with my MacBook Pro which has the following hardware:
Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro11,2
Processor Name: Intel Core i7 Processor Speed: 2.2 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 6 MB
Memory: 16 GB
HDD: 256SSD
I was able to run 8 switches and around 30 routers without a problem. Basically the more CPU and RAM you have the better. Also, having an SSD makes a huge difference.
I hope this helps!

Hi Neno,
Thanks for your response.
But I can't buy Apple brand which is too expansive for me. Could please suggest any other brand.

It doesn't have to be Apple. That is just what I used. In the past I have used a Lenovo T520 and also worked fine. As I said, at the end of the day, what really matters is the amount of resources that you have. The more RAM, CPU cores, and having an SSD over legacy HDD is what will allow you to run more nodes.
