We have WS-C3650-24PD-E that I'm running monitor on to capture pcap since one of our port on switch is having issue. It works fine and everything but I'm capturing it on flash: which is only 1GB so I have to delete and recreate every 30min or so hoping that error happens in that time frame.
I know USB flash can be used but would it be possible to connect external HD via USB?

Hi
Yes, Also take in consideration the capacity I have used Memory stick of 4G/8G to load and images into the switches. I think it should be a problem but take in mind that.

Hi
You can, but the file system should be FAT (no FAT32), I have heard that new IOS 15.x already supports FAT32.
