problem in serial number of 7206 router

Hi

i am having 7206 router. in this router sh ver, sh inventory, sh snmp commands shows a serial number. but this serial number is not mensioned in the chessis of router. and the serial number mensioned in the chessis is not showing in any command. my auditors is not accepting both serial numbers. so please help me

This is the perfectly normal way the 7200 routers are made from the factory.

Chassis has one number, all other parts have one.

If your auditors do not like that, tell them to complain to Cisco.
